
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop dies, molds, and tooling for rubber and engineering components
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
- Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, functionality, and efficiency
- Coordinate with production and tool room teams to validate designs and implement improvements
- Modify and update existing die and mold designs based on feedback and production requirements
- Support troubleshooting of die-related issues during production
- Maintain organized documentation of designs, revisions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Skills
- Skills Required:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory) for 3D modeling and die design
- Understanding of die and mold manufacturing processes and materials
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
- Ability to coordinate with tool room and production teams for design validation
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation
- Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool and Die Engineering
