Footless seals do not include foot-like structures for mechanical retention. They are retained inside grooves using adhesive bonding, ribs, or tight-fit installation. This configuration is widely used across standard inflatable sealing applications.

TYPES (FOOTLESS SEALS)

Round (RD)

Round footless seals are commonly used inflatable seal profiles. They provide uniform expansion and are suitable for general sealing applications.

Dovetail (D)

Dovetail footless seals are designed to improve retention inside the groove. The profile geometry helps reduce seal movement during inflation.

Dovetail (D)

Fabric-reinforced dovetail seals are used where higher internal pressures are involved. The fabric reinforcement increases strength and improves resistance to deformation.
